This semester I'm teaching five courses:

English 110
English 220 online
English 320
English 358
University Studies 189

I typically teach all these courses except 358. This is my first time for
that class. I'm centering it around baseball writing.

I got a BS in English education from University of Evansville, and then
put in three years toward a Phd. at University of Minnesota.

My goal as a teacher, especially in writing classes, is to help students
discover how much they already know and how to use that knowledge (plus
some additional content, tips, techniques) to share their own voices.

As a lecturer, I'm not required to do research, so I spend my non-teaching
time raising my kids, reading, watching movies, and seeing plays.
