A native of Fargo, I am a Lecturer in the English department. I earned my Master's in Literature from NDSU, a double Bachelor's degree (in English Writing and Spanish) from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and an Associate of Arts degree from Northland Community College in Thief River Falls, Minnesota (with an emphasis on English, Spanish, and biology). I am married and have a passion for rubber stamping and scrapbooking.

Courses for fall 2009:
English 110, 320, 324, and Univ Studies 189

Courses generally taught:
English 110, 120, 320, 321, 324, and Univ Studies 189

I am very interested in children's literature (especially for ages 9-17) and British literature (with a love for 19th Century works). I love biology and especially enjoy oceanography.
