Academic Credentials:
2003 BA: Concordia:
Major: Political Science
Minors: Creative Writing & History

2006 MA: University of North Dakota
Focus: Creative Writing

Currently lecturing for the English Department and have worked for the Intensive English Learning Program (IELP). I also work for Medical Practice Consultants (MPC), downtown Fargo. MPC analyzes revenue streams, improves operational efficiencies and increases revenues and reimbursements for medical practices…in a nutshell.

Currently Teaching:
English 110

Other Academic interests:
Reading everything possible on healthcare and keeping current on the pedagogy of Critical Thinking; helping students make a mark on the world instead of the world making a mark on them. It's always better to punch than to get punched…..is what I always say.
Writing articles in the community for the Humane Society and the Homebuilders Association.

Past Areas of Interest:

Creative Writing and the influence Pragmatism has in story development. I also used to be interested in how public policy was passed through Congress. Not anymore. Boring! However, I still enjoy watching Republicans and Democrats made fun of on The Daily Show. Good times!
