I graduated from Mayville State University with an English education degree and minors in library science and history in 2006. I am currently working on an M.A. in composition and rhetoric.

I teach English 120. I enjoy getting to know my students and watching them become better writers over the course of the semester.

I am interested in literacy and the ways literacy and race, class, and gender roles interact. In addition to teaching English 120, I tutor at the Center for Writers. When I'm not busy with school I love to read, watch movies, cook, and work in my garden.
